Proverbs 24:15-16

15 Do not lurk like a thief near the house of the righteous, do not plunder their dwelling place;
16 for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

Wicked man, be warned! Do not conspire against the righteous to disturb his tranquility, for God will punish you.

Righteous man, be comforted! God is on your side and sees any evil against you. You may fall, but God will lift you up again.

God has not promised a bed of roses for good men. In fact, to make a good man perfect, the Lord often brings adversity into his life. Though a just man may have afflictions in his life, the Lord will deliver him out of them all.

Application

Spend time with a God fearing person. Listen to their spiritual journey and the challenges they faced.
